Facilities
What to expect on the island
Motuihe has some of the best sandy beaches in the inner Hauraki Gulf. Clear waters, sheltered anchorages, and visitor facilities make it a popular destination for day trips and camping. Wherever the wind is blowing from, you can usually find a sheltered beach — Ocean Beach, Wharf Bay, Snapper Bay, or Calypso Bay.
